Country salad

Also often known as 'Greek Salad' by our visitors. Perfect with fish or meat, but also lovely on its own with some fresh bread and a glass of Retsina or the local dry white.

Ingredients (serves 2-4)

  • 1 piece of feta cheese
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 cucumber
  • ½ onion
  • Savoury olives
  • Salt
  • 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil

Method

Wash the vegetables well, cut them into small pieces and arrange them on a plate with the feta and olives. Finally, sprinkle with salt and oil. Sprinkle a little oregano onto the feta to add to the taste.
