P.A.C.T. Charity Concert CD now available
Visitors to Makrigialos will know about our annual Festival of Music, held in June each year. On Thursday 8th
February 2007, the international concert pianist and conductor
Brian Stanborough gave a piano recital at St Bride's Church, London, in aid of the Pokhara Academy
Children's Trust, Nepal. A CD disc of the concert, which featured music by Bach, Liszt, Saint-Saëns
and Stanborough is now available.
Excerpts from the CD may be heard on the Pokhara Academy Children's Trust website and all profits from sales of the CD will be donated to P.A.C.T. [Pokhara Academy Children's Trust, Nepal]

New age composer and performer Øystein Sevåg has been described in the American press "as Norways most important export article". When Øystein performed at our first festival in 2004 he was so inspired that he composed a special piece of music which he called 'Casa dei Mezzo'.
